Description

After-School All-Stars (ASAS) has provided programming to students since its establishment in 2000. The goal of ASAS has always been to fuel children’s passions in academic and enrichment activities, provide them with the academic foundation to succeed in school, and equip them with the skills to become productive members of their communities. ASAS programs integrate academic support, enrichment opportunities, and health and fitness activities. ASAS is responding to America's high school dropout, youth obesity, student empowerment, and economic crises through the implementation of its national program initiatives: We Are Ready, CampUs, Life Service Action, Career Exploration Opportunities (C.E.O.), and Sports as a Hook. Each of these programs is designed to promote academic readiness and achievement for ASAS participants.
