Do you want to make a direct positive impact on the life of a nearby blind community member? Either in-person or virtually, you can support a blind individual in a variety of ways:

Sighted Task Support: You can aid in some areas where a sighted volunteer might make a task easier - reading mail, completing documents, grocery support, and more!

As a volunteer, you will also be acting as a Friendly Visitor for a person in the blind community.

Locations: We have a greater need for new volunteers in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties, though we are continuously accepting applications for the Greater San Francisco Bay Area as a whole.
