Administrative Volunteers for Hospice Program Needed

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Baylor Scott & White Hospice

Baylor Scott and White Hospice is actively seeking dedicated volunteers to assist our staff with administrative tasks in our office. Our Hospice program focuses on giving needed physical, emotional, and spiritual support and comfort to patients that have been diagnosed with a life-limiting or terminal illness. Volunteers play a meaningful role in our program, and administrative volunteers help us keep our day-to-day office tasks running smoothly.

Tasks administrative volunteers can help with include: answering the phones, contacting patients and families, data entry, filing, preparing mailouts, sending cards, assembling admission packets and other clerical tasks as needed. Several of these tasks can be completed remotely, and remote volunteering is an option. Volunteers are encouraged to share any special skills or experience with staff.

We are looking for volunteers who can make a commitment to volunteer 2 or so hours a week. Volunteer shifts are flexible and tailored to the volunteer’s schedule and availability. No previous administrative or clerical experience is needed.

Volunteering a couple of hours a week can make a significant difference in our office operations. We hope you will consider becoming an administrative volunteer and joining the Baylor Scott and White Hospice team.
