The Adopt-A-Route provides an excellent way for individuals, families, and groups to engage in the community by delivering a midday meal to older adults in our community. Please consider Adopting-A-Route to deliver a difference to older adults. We can’t do it alone!
- Meals are picked up at 11:15am. Routes are available 7 days a week!
- Delivery routes consist of 8-15 stops and average 1-1.5 hours.
- Flexible routes schedules are available.
Don’t have the capacity to commit to delivering a route? Let us customize a volunteer experience for you! Volunteering for Family Service Rochester is a great way to give back to your community.

Family Service Rochester (FSR) is a community based, nonprofit organization which provides services associated with counseling, case management, home services and family access center.
FSR was founded in 1965 with a staff of three and the mission to support and enhance the dignity and quality of life for individuals and families in the community. From that small start-up offering counseling and homemaker services, the agency has grown to provide more than 25 programs to meet ever-changing community needs. Volunteers are a key aspect to excellent service delivery to those individuals and families we work with.
