The Outreach Volunteer will assist in raising awareness of cancer Support Community Central Ohio’s programs and resources, through personal visits and phone contact with individuals and organizations, with the objective of increasing program participation. We offer no-cost programs and services to cancer survivors, caregivers, and family members for as long as they would like to attend. Our evidence-based classes are led by experts in their field.
We are seeking volunteers for 2 Volunteer Positions.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH:
-Assist in creating or updating lists of organizations for the purpose of further outreach
-Contact these organizations by phone or personal visit to determine how we can serve their organization
HEALTH FAIRS AND COMMUNITY EVENTS REPRESENTATIVE:
-Represent Cancer Support Community at various health fairs and community events to increase awareness

We provide programs and services, all at no cost to the participant in five areas of support including education, support, healthy lifestyles, resources and referrals and social opportunities.
