Mission Statement

At Brighter Choice Community School, our mission is student learning. We pursue this objective within a safe, fun yet, rigorous learning environment that nurtures and promotes critical thinking skills. As a PROSE school, we are committed to offering our students a progressive education, and working in collaboration with all stakeholders to foster student achievement. Students engage in project-based, hands-on learning, and are exposed to a multitude of enrichment opportunities. Spanish language acquisition, and the inclusion of our STEAM based curricula are key aspects of BCCS. We cultivate strong partnerships between administration, teachers, parents, community, and students. Diversity and inclusion are also celebrated and honored. BCCS Vision and Philosophy

BCCS is a school where every child can reach his/her true potential within a diverse community of learners. As each student brings their own unique strengths and challenges, our teachers strive to teach in a variety of ways to tap into and augment those strengths.

We strongly believe in instruction that is assessment driven and requires children to be actively engaged in their own education.

We fully understand that "one size does not fit all". Keeping this in mind, our philosophy and culture support a standards-based education that is challenging and focused on the individual learner.
