A bunch of really awesome organizations, artists and community leaders have gotten together to coordinate the KCK Art Walk, which is a night of art, community, live music, kid's activities, food vendors and more in the heart of KCK.

We need volunteers to help set-up, clean up, capture picture perfect moments and more. Sign up to volunteer with the task of your choice! Volunteers will also get to enjoy a night of visual art, live music, food and more!

    Event Teardown (Assist with tearing down lights, balloons and seating.)
  • Fri Oct 15, 2021 - evening / 06:00 PM to 08:30 PM
    Maintenance (Assist with monitoring the trash stations by taking trash to the dumpster and replacing trash bags.)
  • Fri Oct 15, 2021 - afternoon / 03:00 PM to 04:15 PM
    Event Setup (Assist with setting up lights, balloons and seating.)

For more than 20 years, CHWC has transformed vacant lots and blighted properties in Kansas City, KS, into thriving neighborhoods through building and renovating affordable homes for sale and for rent, providing homebuyer education, financial assistance and counseling, as well as community engagement through our arts studio and urban teaching farm.

Since 2002, CHWC has built, renovated or repaired over 500 homes, educated thousands of families, generated over $90,000,000 of capital investment in Wyandotte County Neighborhoods, and touched the lives of countless residents and volunteers through our arts, urban agriculture, and other community engagement efforts.
