ORGANIZATION: Allies for Every Child

Quick Overview: Allies for Every Child is facilitating an outdoor Food Drive-Thru where we will provide families with fresh produce and nonperishable food. We will also be giving away Halloween treats to children. We will need volunteers to help with the following tasks:

  • setting up and cleaning up of tents and tables
  • food sorting and packaging
  • managing the car line/traffic
  • assisting with registering families
  • unloading supplies into the trunks of our families' cars
Impact: Allies for Every Child exists to serve Los Angeles' most vulnerable children. Our Saturday food-drive thru will be serving low-income families from the Los Angeles County.

Additional Information: Allies for Every Child is following every recommended precaution to ensure the safety of our staff and volunteers. Per our vaccination policy, staff and onsite volunteers are required to provide proof of receiving their COVID-19 vaccination. Every person onsite will be subjected to a health screener before their shift. Everyone is required to wear a face mask and gloves for the duration of their shift. Hand sanitizer and disposable gloves will be available for volunteers to use at all times. The event is held outdoors and so volunteers are asked to dress appropriately for the weather.

Allies for Every Child works to ensure that every child has a safe and nurturing environment and the support necessary to grow, learn and thrive.
