Puget Sound Hospice is looking for a volunteers to use their training in any of the following complementary and alternative therapies to bring comfort and a sense of well-being to patients nearing the end of life.

  • Pet therapy
  • Aroma Therapy
  • Music Therapy
  • Art Therapy
  • Reiki
  • Massage
  • Progressive muscle relaxation and guided imaging (we train, no certification required)
Location is wherever a patient lives: private home, nursing facility, etc. Schedule is determined by you and the patient.

Established in Tacoma in 1994, Puget Sound Home Health expanded in Spring 2021 by opening a hospice in Thurston County. Come help us bring comfort to patients with a terminal illness and their families.

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • Minimum four hours/month, six month commitment requested.
  • Health screens and vaccinations. Must have own transportation. More than one year since death of a loved one.
