Hello!
We are seeking a all-round volunteer that can be available at least one day a week for this fall season. We need assistance with random daily tasks such donations and tidying up. We are seeking a volunteer for Tuesdays (any time between) 12 - 3pm. We currently have this hour, but may shift later to 4pm - 7pm in the later Fall. You will mainly be working with our Director.
Your Responsibility:
- help sort and pack donations, tables/chairs, etc
- Make sure people have signed up and note information we need from them
- Keep donation record binder updated with daily count of people helped
- Help out director - Ms. Carmen if she needs something written down or noted
- Tidying up ( not limited to wiping tables, picking up trash, windows, putting items away)
Exceptions:
- to be able to carry 20 - 35lbs
- organized
- Communication - as sometimes you may need to speak with people and note things to our director.
- be able to write clearly
- Able to help at least on Tuesdays
- (optional but helpful) Speaks Spanish

Description
We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, dedicated to sponsoring free education and community services. Programs include computer literacy, English and career training. We also provide advocacy services for individual rights. We execute positive solutions that help our community grow and improve in the various areas that affect our daily lives.

- At least one day a week, for 1-2 hours
- We are a very small team, so every one does a lot of multitasking. You will be a big part of the team. So we just ask if you make sure throughout your service you let us know if you can not make it on a day or have completed your volunteering.
