Abandoned Animal Rescue is a limited intake dog and cat shelter. In 2020 we found homes for just over 800 animals. We need volunteers to help with animal care, i.e. feeding, cleaning kennels, walking dogs, etc. We ask volunteers to commit to two 2-hour shifts a month and could really use your help! Shifts run daily from 8a-10a and 3p-5p. We offer an orientation and tour every Saturday morning (excluding holidays) starting at 9am. Hope to see you!

Our mission is to end the unnecessary euthanasia of helpless animals and to place them in permanent homes for the duration of their lives. In addition, we are here to properly educate about responsible pet ownership.
