Answer a call to serve...become a FWISD Volunteer.

What is one of the most prominent obstacles to a child’s learning process?Hunger. Many families of FWISD schools in the east side of Fort Worth are still affected or recovering from the financial impact of COVID-19.

The Fort Worth ISD’s Family Action Center needs volunteers every 2nd Thursday of each month to help distribute food for the students, families and individuals of 20 schools in the southeast Fort Worth within the Eastern Hills and Dunbar High School areas. They provide fresh, healthy food like dairy, produce, and meats.

When: Every 2nd Thursday of the month from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

Volunteers will help with set up, clean up, registration, table stocking, car loading, line greeter, floaters.
