Power In Changing is moving! We are need of volunteers to help with moving, loading and unloading from one location to another our new location.
We are open a minimum of 3 hour shift it that better suits your schedule.

Qualifications:

- Able
- Sound judgement in regards to items being moved, safety first
- Friendly, professional and polite demeanor
- Team player
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds (assistance will be available).

Other duties and responsibilities:
- Report to staff with any concerns.
- Volunteers must wear proper attire for moving, no open toed shoes.
- Always check for any safety hazards or concerns with the items being moved.
- Maintain a respectful, kind and non-judgmental view.

Power in Changing exists to serve the families experiencing financial hardship. We help babies and toddlers remain healthy and dry by providing their families with diapers and training pants.

Description

Power In Changing is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that focuses on the needs of families experiencing financial hardship.We help babies and toddlers remain healthy and dry by providing their families with diapers and training pants. Based out of Columbia, South Carolina, we service the Midlands and surrounding communities. Our efforts are spent collecting donated diapers (and cash donations for the purchase of diapers) that are distributed free-of-charge to low-income households in South Carolina through existing service providers, including local food banks, daycare centers, social service agencies and shelters. The dispensary partners with organizations that have direct experience and expertise working in communities where child poverty is greatest
