Join a specialized volunteer community and have the opportunity for veterans to help fellow veterans during end-of-life care. Help care for your fellow veterans in a way that only you can!

Aurora at Home is proud to be affiliated with the 'We Honor Veterans' Program. Veteran volunteers are needed to visit patients for companionship, share stories, offer support and encouragement. Veterans are also needed to assist with pinning ceremonies to recognize and appreciate veterans at the end of life.

Becoming a hospice volunteer can feel like a big step, and we’re here to help. We support all our volunteers with an extensive orientation and training program. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

Safety is our #1 priority, so a background check and health history will need to be completed. All Aurora employees, including volunteers, are required to be vaccinated for Flu during Flu season.

Please reach out directly to Aurora Health at Home Volunteer Coordinator, Lexi Pirman, for more information and to begin the process!
