We are in need of compassionate and reliable volunteers that are interested in Administrative duties in the office setting. Gentiva Hospice is looking to recruit individuals to help with making phone calls (tuck in calls) and helping with supplies. We need volunteers for morning and afternoon shifts.
Our tuck in program is designed to maximize the role of the volunteer in assisting other team members to serve patients more effectively and efficiently. Volunteers will make phone calls to patients/caregivers to assure that they have the necessary supplies, medications and/or support that they might need.
We support our volunteers and appreciate the important role they play in the hospice environment.
Gentiva Hospice requires that volunteer's complete orientation and training sessions and submit to a background check. The Volunteer Coordinator will work with the volunteers to make sure all steps are taken to complete the on-boarding process to become a successful volunteer.
Time spent volunteering depends on your flexibility and the needs of our office.

We support our volunteers and appreciate the important rolse they play in hospice care. we prepare volunteers with specific training. Volunteering takes no advanced medical training or great commitment. All hospice volunteers are given assignments that best suit their time, skills and interests. YOU BELONG HERE.
