Shared Harvest | myCovidMD is hosting a vaccination pop-up at Placita de Dolores (Olvera Street) in Los Angeles. Our goal is to vaccinate between 50 and 250 people in the community.

Event Details:

  • Time: 7:30 am- 4:00 pm (event runs from 9 am to 4 pm)

Mission Statement

Shared Harvest Foundation organization’s mission is to leverage its empathy-driven technology to mobilize (and provide student debt relief to) a network of culturally competent healthcare volunteers that will deploy a sustainable tactical emergency response to the COVID-19 public health pandemic, participate in authentic community engagement, and facilitate contact tracing in predominantly Black and brown communities and shelter-less individuals where distrust and socioeconomic inequities compound the crisis.

Description

Shared Harvest Foundation Inc. (SHF) is a Black and woman-founded 501(c)3 corporation, led by three doctors whose mission is to mobilize its network of professional volunteers to serve communities facing social and economic inequities, to tackle the COVID-19 public health and student loan debt crises. SHF continues to strengthen its efforts and serve multiple communities in need of equitable access to healthcare resources through it myCovidMD’s initiative.
