If you've been angry about the corruption at the port and the lack of local government transparency this is the role for you! Time - 1 to 4 hours a month. Thurston Climate Action Team (TCAT) brings our community together to reduce climate disruption -- resulting in a healthy, just and prosperous future for all.
Description
TCAT is the leading grassroots nonprofit focused on climate change and justice in Thurston County, partnering with our community to restore earth’s climate and create a healthy, just, and joyous world for all. At the same time, our work focuses on cost savings for individuals and businesses, creating more living wage jobs, economic development by supporting clean energy businesses, improving health, and helping local farmers reduce their costs. One of our most recent accomplishments is getting our major jurisdictions to declare a Climate Emergency and adopt and commit to implement the Thurston County Mitigation Plan.
