San Diego Walk to End Alzheimer's - Volunteer Day of the Walk

We are so excited for the upcoming San Diego Walk to End Alzheimer's on October 5th. I know I have been in touch with some of you, but would love to get everyone confirmed who is interested in volunteering the day of the event. We would love for you to sign up for the full morning shift from 6:15am-11:30am through Signup Genius.Future Email Communications: Sign up using our Signup Genius link here for the San Diego Walk . Here is the Link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0944ADA92EA2FCCE9-49891469-sandiego#/ We will use Signup Genius to capture your name and contact information and will be the way we follow up via email with volunteers leading up to the Walk day. Day of Event Timeline and Details: 6:15am - Volunteer Check in - Receive a volunteer shirt and 1st task. Next - Once a task is complete, please return to the Volunteer Check in for next tasks. Tasks will be assigned the day of the Walk. 7:30am - Greeter volunteers in place as participants and teams arrive. Volunteers continue to assist with set up, at booths, or as assigned. 9:00am - Opening Ceremony 9:30am - Walk begins, volunteers will continue with assigned tasks or find an area to cheer along the route. Please know that cheering is a high priority for the day. 10:30am - As the event participants finish, volunteers will help with breakdown and clean up. 11:30am - Clean up should be complete.
