Our Public Relations Volunteer will research contacts for media outlets (television, radio, magazine, newspaper, podcast, blogs, and online publications). He/She/They will develop and update a list of contacts to reach out to. They will draft a press release to be distributed to contact people at the different media outlets. They will craft and manage our brand.
This is a perfect opportunity for anyone looking to move into a Public Relations career, a student studying Public Relations. or someone with public relations experience looking to serve a small grassroots nonprofit.

Description
The Chrysalis Program is a 501c3 nonprofit that teaches self-confidence, accountability and practical life skills to minority girls age 5-19 through interactive workshops, mentoring and counseling.
Utilizing the resources of volunteers and active parents we create a community of learning, transformation and growth.
