As a small nonprofit organization, ACA relies on the help of our supporters and volunteers to be able to offer creative, dynamic and inspiring art programs and events all year-round. We hope you'll consider joining our team of volunteers -- whether you are interested in helping out with one-time events, or offering weekly administrative support, your assistance is vital to our mission and ongoing operations!

ACA is seeking volunteers for the following opportunities:

  • ACA Events (Arlington Open Studios, Arlington Porchfest, etc.)
  • Gallery Sitter for Exhibits
  • Administrative Support
  • Vacation Arts Camps (for Gr 1-6)
  • Semester Art Classes
  • Jobs that require simple carpentry skills (shelf installation, simple bench construction, etc.)

The Arlington Center for the Arts is a community arts center devoted to the mission of transforming lives and building community through the arts. ACA was established in 1988 by a visionary group of artists, writers, musicians and educators as a place where artists could share their work with the community through educational and outreach programs.

Description

ACA is a vibrant community arts center and a cornerstone for the creative community in Arlington. ACA offers opportunities for people of all ages to discover and express their own creativity and to appreciate the creativity of others through a dynamic mix of classes, workshops, exhibits, performances and special events.
