Seeking local youth leaders ages 20-35 to lead high school students in volunteer projects, community activities, political activism and social events. You will be leading a non-religious Youth Council for high school students.

Volunteers must complete a background check, have community activist and youth programming experience, and be able to work with youth and create a safe space for them.

Duties include:

  • Overseeing youth council and helping to build a civic and community program for them
  • Planning activities and events
  • Meeting monthly
  • Attendance and creating incentives
  • Engaging community and building membership
  • Managing leadership

Description

The People's Community Church shall be a free fellowship of Christian men, women and children dedicated to the fulfillment of Christian principles through common service for the common good. It seeks to carry out the principles of Jesus in a cooperative way in all areas of social, economic, political and spiritual life.
