VOLUNTEERS WILL:
Engage with patients to complete Patient Satisfaction Survey and work with our QI Department to organize, interpret and analyze data. The purpose of the survey is to:
- Improve the quality of patient care
- Assist Clinical staff with provider scheduling
- Identify opportunities for new programs and services
- Comply with HRSA requirements
Enroll patients in our Patient Portal. The purpose of the portal is to:
- Improve the quality of patient care
- Empower patients to take control of their health
- Increase patient’s connection to their medical home
Conduct outreach phone calls to patients for Preventative Screenings.

Description
For 25 years, UMMA Clinic has provided a full-service medical home for over 25,000 adults and children living in South Los Angeles. UMMA envisions itself as part of a larger network of institutions addressing the health and well-being of the underserved and indigent through regular health maintenance, routine prevention screenings, immunizations, and wellness evaluations.
