Twice a week the Outreach Van run by Joseph's House in Albany gets a donation of food which can be heated to take to people living outside around the city. The food need to be picked up from an Albany location, taken to our building on N. Pearl Street and reheated ready to go in the warming oven on our outreach van. The food needs to ready for the van to leave a little after noon, so this is a day and time critical opportunity: you can choose one or both days to help us: Tuesdays and/or Thursday mornings. Volunteers will need to sign a vehicle waiver and complete our usual volunteer process (online application, phone interview, and safety and task orientation.)
