The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is looking for volunteers to participate with local non-profits in the Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson, and Warren County areas. This is a national volunteer service operating through Community Action of Southern Kentucky. The program is open to all adults over the age of 55 who are dependable and willing to complete their assignment. Some of the current assignments are with senior centers, food banks, churches, ombudsman programs, and other agencies.
Current Volunteer Opportunities at RSVP: Commodities Volunteer, Food Pantry Support, Health Education Leader/Evidence Based Program Instructor, Military Coupon-er, Ombudsman Volunteer, RSVP Event Volunteer, Housing Placement/Assistance, Transportation, Emergency Food Pantry Support, Friendly Visitor, Home Meal Delivery Aide, Office Assistant, Phone Pal, Volunteer Income Tax Assistant, Disaster Response, Job Placement Services
What is the current mileage reimbursement rate? We are currently paying $0.40/mile reimbursement.
