Farm Discovery is looking for a volunteer to deliver fresh and nutritious food to some of the community members that need it more than ever right now. Live Earth Farm produce will be picked up and delivered to the Pajaro Valley Health Trust in Watsonville.

The job would include:

-Pick-up at Live Earth Farm in Watsonville Thursdays between 10am and 12 pm. Staff will meet you and train you.

-This load will require lifting crates transporting the produce in truck or larger vehicle.

-Load and weigh donated crates into your car for drop off.

-An PVCHT Staffer will greet you 85 Nielson Street
Watsonville with further instructions of where to unload.

Farm Discovery at Live Earth is a nonprofit organization working in the Pajaro Valley community to empower youth and families to build and sustain healthy food, farming, social and natural systems. Our home, Live Earth Farm, is a 150 acre patchwork of working organic farm, riparian corridor, oak and redwood forest in the Pajaro Valley of Santa Cruz County, California. Discovery Docents are needed to help lead groups of students through our organic farm education activities Mondays and Fridays 8:30-12:30 during the school year. Special Events Volunteers table and lead activities at community events throughout the year.
