Plant trees to restore native habitat and improve water quality of Burnt Bridge Creek!
Pre-registration is required and space is limited. All ages and abilities are welcome!
- A registration form must be completed for each volunteer. Copy and paste registration link into your browser: https://burntbridgecreekplantingoct23.eventbrite.com
- Parents: please fill out a form for each child/dependent. Students ages 16 or older can volunteer without an adult present.
Accessibility: The planting site is in a flat area about a 5-minute walk down a paved path.
What to bring: Face covering or mask and a water bottle.
What we provide: sanitized planting gloves, shovels, extra masks, snacks and warm beverages.
What to wear: Long sleeves, pants, rain gear and sturdy shoes or boots are recommended.
Before the event: You will receive an email with the parking location and additional details.
At the event: Estuary Partnership staff will share project goals and demonstrate planting techniques. We will review COVID guidelines to ensure safe planting, distribute tools and organize volunteers into small, dispersed groups.
We welcome ALL ages, races and ethnicities, religions, gender identities, countries of origin, sexual orientation, immigrants and refugees, abilities and disabilities, spoken and signed languages. Together, we are a stronger community working toward a common goal.
Estuary Partnership staff are closely following the CDC’s COVID guidelines and will alert all registered guests to any event changes, including cancellation.

Description
The Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership is a non-profit, a National Estuary Program, and a collection of dedicated scientists, educators, and community members who are passionate about the Columbia River.
We focus on the lower 146 miles of the Columbia River, from Bonneville Dam to the Pacific Ocean, including the tidally influenced portions of tributaries in that area. The watershed includes 28 cities, nine counties, and 45 school districts within the states of Oregon and Washington.
