Fantastic opportunity to support our United States Military Veterans and their families. As a new 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, we are looking for an experienced social media consultant to help us build our social presence and audience to spread the word about our services for disabled US military Veterans. You will work with the small Vets Claims Plus team to develop our social media and content plans and handle postings and management of our sites. We will start with Facebook, but would also want suggestions for LinkedIn and other platforms you would recommend to reach our target audience. Prior experience with not-for-profits and veterans are highly desired however not mandatory based upon experience and passion for our cause. Additional skills desired (not mandatory) include fundraising and public relations. Experience with Mailchimp and Wordpress is also helpful. The mission of VETS CLAIMS PLUS is to enhance the quality of life for deserving veterans and their families through the pursuit of benefits offered by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). We educate and assist veterans with a focus on disability claims and appeals. We proudly partner with disabled veterans to teach and expertly guide them through the complexities of VA programs, providing turn-key services for the delivery of their compensation benefits.
Description
We help Veterans get the benefits they deserve. We are a small newly launched 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization that processes VA claims AND appeals. We are accredited and experienced in working with disabled Veterans to get them the disability benefits they deserve. Most Veterans are unsure if they are eligible for VA service-connected disability compensation benefits or they just don’t know who to trust to submit their disability benefits claims. While there are many service providers, both non-profit and for profit, that help Veterans, we are unique in many ways. We process VA claims, and there are not as many providers who specialize in that. Our mission to help Veterans was founded by a VA accredited, retired attorney who served eight years in the Army, Airborne, and a retired business executive who has worked with over 2,000 Veterans. We are accustomed to the complexities and difficulties maneuvering through large organizations like the Veterans Administration. We understand the minimum requirement, get results, and get the maximum disabilities compensation deserved for each Veteran. The combination of experience, knowledge and commitment to Veterans is hard to find.

REQUIREMENTS
- Time commitment will vary based upon the approved plan we develop together. We are based in Florida US and would ideally desire a work schedule on Eastern time. Start date is flexible and opportunity to continue into 2022 is available.
