Intermountain Homecare & Hospice is looking for someone to develop a program to recognize & honor our patients who are veterans. The volunteer would collaborate with the team and design a program we could have other volunteers help support. We are looking for someone who is passionate about this idea and can self manage.
One of our other offices helps the family dress the patient in their uniform and has a pinning ceremony and presents them with a certificate. We are looking for anything along those lines.
Our company will cover all costs - we just need someone to develop the idea and follow up with the program.
Due to the fact we enter people's homes, our volunteers are required to complete a drug screen, background check, and complete fingerprinting. Training for working with hospice patients will also be provided.
