Are you interested in helping other Veterans? Elara Caring, a leading care provider in the area, is looking for compassionate Veteran Volunteers willing to donate their time and provide service support to local Veteran Hospice patients and their families. We are partners with We Honor Veterans organizations and strive to provide excellent care to our Veteran patients. We also honor our Veterans for their unselfish time and service with periodic pinning ceremonies. As a volunteer you may provide companionship, play, cards, read to patient, write letters for patients, or reminisce about time served for the country. There is no physical care involved. Hours are flexible, weekdays, evening, and or weekends. Typically, we ask that you would visit your assigned patient 1-2 hours per week.
