FOOD MINISTRY
Every Friday 2:30-6P, we partner with Feeding Tampa Bay, Save-A-Lot, Costco, Publix and Children’s Baptist Home to provide thousands of pounds of food to those in need. Over 550 families pick up a box full of fresh produce, meat, and groceries.
Work on location or travel to homes to deliver food.
COMMUNITY LUNCHES
Our heart to help our community starts by knowing the members residing in the area. Weekly, we provide a hot lunch giving us the opportunity to find out how life is going for those in our community. If there are needs for resources that are uncovered during conversations we attempt to meet needs for attendees. For example, when there are transportation challenges, we have taken members to court, counseling and to medical appointments. Taking the time to hear their vision and goals for life helps us understand how to support them better.
Volunteers are needed to help serve.
RAPTIME
Our stay-in-school program focuses on the importance of graduation from high school. Partnering with parents, schools, and the community, we expose our young people to the benefits of graduating and moving on to college or a technical trade. There are trends where family members drop out of school or never receive their diploma or GED. Our program focuses on setting goals and exploring career choices, which build the foundation for success. We currently have 14 youth registered in Raptime that are in middle school and have recently opened it to elementary-aged children.
Volunteers are needed to tutor children Mon-Weds 3-6PM. Your time is flexible.
