Are you good at organizing and enjoy coordinating projects? This may be the perfect opportunity for you!
Meals on Wheels Site Leaders give back to the community by putting their organizational and administrative skills to work. Site Leaders are the backbone of our organization, helping to ensure that meals get out to homebound and elderly individuals each day. It only requires a few hours of your time, each week.
The Meals on Wheels Site Leaders will serve at our Broken Arrow site. You will open the site and prepare space for meal delivery on your designated day. When volunteers arrive, you will greet them and provide them with their delivery information for the day. One of the primary roles of a Site Leader is to communicate with the Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa office about volunteers and routes.
You will receive training prior to coordinating on your own.
Time involved is between 2-4 hours, usually between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. This position is for Broken Arrow on Monday and Wednesday.
