Need a Legal Professional to be an Alzheimer's Community Educator
ORGANIZATION: Alzheimer's Association
Please visit the new page to apply.
Alzheimer's Association offers a free Legal & Financial Planning program for families and individuals dealing with Alzheimer's or dementia. It's presented in two parts, typically an attorney and a financial planner.
We provide the program, you provide the experience and expertise. We need a volunteer to cover the legal portion. Ideally this person would deliver the program 6 times a year in Pitt and/or surrounding counties either virtually and/or in-person.
This is a very important service to these families and those diagnosed and not a huge time commitment. The Alzheimer's Association onboarding and training takes about 3-4 hours total and programs are about 2.5-3 hours with Q&A and potential travel time.
