Do you like research and compiling information? The SHINE Program at Advantage Aging Solutions in Tallahassee is looking for a volunteer to compile a list of non-profits, civic and service clubs that exist in each of 14 counties around the Big Bend area and west into the panhandle area and enter them into an Excel spreadsheet
The information you gather will be useful later in the promotion of the SHINE Program in those same 14 counties, and in the recruitment of volunteer SHINE Medicare Counselors. This is an excellent opportunity for both college-age students and retirees. SHINE stands for Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders.
We will provide an office space, a phone, a computer to use, and an overview of the SHINE Program. While uncertain about the time that will be needed to complete this project, mid-December is an anticipated deadline.
If interested, please contact SHINE Liaison, Chris Polzer, 850-739-5939 or chrisp@aaanf.org.
