Be a source of refuge and support when disasters strike! Fires and storms are unexpected, but you can join one of our local teams that are trained to respond to emergencies. Provide care, kindness and hope to those who need it on their road to recovery.
Are you ready to turn your compassion into action? As a Disaster Casework volunteer, you will connect directly with people affected by disasters big and small to help take the next steps in their recovery journey. Red Cross volunteers support the recovery process of disaster-affected individuals, households, and communities by providing advocacy, referrals and financial assistance using our case management system.

- Orientation or Training
- Approximately 2 hours per week, more during large scale emergencies. Must be willing to complete 9 hours of virtual self-paced training required for position.
