Program: Tutoring Club (CIS Tacoma)

Mt. Tahoma High School serves students aged 14-18, many of whom are credit-deficient and in need of extra help to complete their assignments. Academic tutors meet with students one-on-one or in small groups to support students in Math, English, Science and Literature.

This afterschool program takes place on Monday - Friday from 3 PM - 5 PM.

Communities In Schools is part of the 5th largest youth development organization in the country. We are the only ones proven to increase graduation rates AND decrease dropout rates.

We serve as the bridge between the student and the community, bringing in resources that help break down the barriers that students have to be successful in school.
