Program purpose

• Motivate and encourage people via mail
• let people know they are not alone

Chair - Program Director and Assistant program director

Volunteers needed - 2

Approximately 10 - 25 hours per month (per volunteer)

• Community engagement and card writing events
  • Plans, coordinates community card writing events

• Keep spreadsheets updated (google docs)
• Update new contacts as needed
• Add new requests as they come in
• Data entry for card sent
• Maintains logs, spreadsheets and data entry
• Documentation
• Prints and files hard copies of the requests (binder at the office)
• Completed mailer spreadsheets once received enter in google docs, file hard copies in the binder (at the office)
• Requests to cancel sending cards, recipients that passed away - update binders - print hard copies if available, or write a note on original request and file in binder
• Communication
• Uses and monitor assigned email ,
• Uses personal phone for phone calls
• Team management
• Follow up with team members
  • Send team members thank you cards
  • Provide necessary information for team to complete their tasks (email or mail spreadsheets with most recent updated names & addresses)
  • Send reminders to team members for the due dates
