We are a group of folks who share your dreams of health and community

We have a shared vision that the way in which our food grows impacts us personally as well as the planet and all Life on earth. We value community and connection that fosters a sense of belonging and healthy real food security for all.

Our vision for Butte County is to create a strong local food system as the basis of a strong local economy, anchored in a healthy community that thrives on neighbors helping neighbors.

We are working from backyard gardens all the way to the whole Northstate to create more food security. This involves everything from informing folks on the importance of buying food from our local farmers, to growing food to policy work.

Our signature event, is the Garden BLITZ. We build up to 150 the Spring to create a community that grows food together. Our Eat Your Lawn program invites folks to turn their whole lawns into Permaculture Food Forests.

We do monthly educational meetups, Farm to Fork Feasts with some of our local growers, put on educational events, and have a Famers Marketmobile. We are also, in conjuction with community stakeholders, writing a Local Food Assessment, the final report will be available by Feb. 2022.
