Position Overview:

Low Entropy is a nonprofit organization that is making personal growth accessible to all, and in doing so providing people with the tools to change themselves and the world. Conscious Connections is a (primarily online) gathering based on different topics for people to explore better understandings of themselves and others within a compassionate, loving space.

We are looking for an enthusiastic program coordinator to support us in our operations and help foster and grow our community of volunteer facilitators. We are looking for individuals who reflect and demonstrate our values at Conscious Connections and are optimistic towards their personal growth.

To be an effective program coordinator, you must be organized, detail oriented, comfortable working with diverse teams, adaptable to change and willing to take initiative with tasks. You will be expected to connect with members of our community via Whatsapp, Zoom and email.

Responsibilities:

• Foster a culture of connection and community
• Support our volunteers in their personal growth and journey in our program
• Ensure the implementation of policies and practices
• Community with a diverse group of volunteers
• Help build positive relations within the team and external stakeholders
• Schedule and organize meetings/events
• Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.)
• Keep updated records and create reports or proposals
• Attend meetings and gatherings online to be well integrated with the organization
• Support growth and program development

Qualifications and Skills:

• Available weekly
• Collaborative
• Organized
• Proficient computer skills and familiar with Zoom and Google Drive
