We seek students and recent alumni interested in careers in IT. Partnering with a locally-based software company, Boundless Peake will manage an internship program where participants will work in small teams to solve real-time client problems. In the process they will learn key basics critical to success in the industry (e.g., coding, cyber-security). Participants will engage in a workforce training experience where they will learn basics of working within a typical IT company on a day-to-day basis; and how to excel in the environment.
Our program is unique in that it combines a project-based internship with tutoring and career coaching. Students will be assigned to a project team. Each The team will be tasked with resolving a problem linked to a client-driven or needs based solution.

Description
Boundless Peake, an incorporated 501c (3) non-profit, was founded by Harold Hodges to help
under-served youth and young adults achieve academically and professionally. The non-profit
aspires to offer free tutoring, career coaching and internet access to grades 6-12, and adults. The
organization’s underlying philosophy is that career and personal success require academic support
and professional support. Getting into a great school is a start. Attaining good grades, and then
translating that into a meaningful career requires other tutoring, coaching, and continual support.
Our name pays homage to Mary S. Peake, the African-American educator who started a school for
the children of former slaves starting in the fall of 1861 under what became known as the
Emancipation Oak tree in present-day Hampton, Virginia; and our mission of enabling individuals
to dream beyond their imagination.
