We are seeking a motivated, creative, and tech-savvy student to serve as a social media intern. Interns will work closely with the Executive Director and advisors to design and execute content that aligns with REAL's values and mission. Interns will curate a schedule of content for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Applicants should have a strong level of experience with these channels:
- Demonstrated writing ability
- A creative eye
- Organizational skills
- Experience with Photoshop and/or Canva
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work with the Executive Director to create and implement campaigns
- Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis
- Create engaging and original social media content
- Assist in the general distribution of press releases and media alerts
- Provide support to our REAL team at live and virtual events
Preferred Skills:
- Strong knowledge of major social media platforms
- Photography skill and experience highly desired
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks
- Self-motivated
