CHILDRENS GRIEF CENTER OF NEW MEXICO INC

Children's Grief Center, and The Grief Resource Center, are non profits that provide free grief support services to kids and adults of all ages, who have experienced the death of a loved one.

We have a new building, The Center for Hope and Healing, that has a beautiful new reception area that we need volunteers to staff. We love and appreciate our volunteers and know they are capable of so much. That is why we want to staff our reception area with those kind faces.

This volunteer opportunity would involve answering the phone, light computer work, and other administrative tasks when they arise.

If you have a heart for helping those that have experienced the death of a loved one, and are ready to help out a fast growing organization, this volunteer opportunity is for you!

3 Shifts

  • morning / 08:30 AM to 11:30 AM
  • 11:30 AM to 02:30 PM
  • 02:30 PM to 05:00 AM

  • Must be at least 18
  • We ask that you are able to commit to at least three consecutive hours on a consistent basis (once a week, once a month).
  • Must be able to answer phones, be open to learning new ways of doing things, and be able to listen attentively to possible clients that call in who are going through a difficult time.
