Hospice Volunteer Training October 5 - 26 on Wednesdays from 9:00am -12:30pm in Portsmouth, RI.

Volunteers make a difference supporting our patients as compassionate visitors, running errands, or providing respite for the caregivers. Individuals with training in Reiki, Pet Therapy, Music or Expressive Arts are especially needed to offer complementary services to hospice patients. The training will include hospice philosophy of care, bereavement care, compassionate communication, and the role of clinical providers.

There is continued support and education for all volunteers.

Serve in your preferred geographic location, we have patients in South County, on Aquidneck Island, East Bay and Warwick/East Greenwich/Cranston neighborhoods.

We provide home care nursing, rehabilitation, hospice & palliative care, maternal child health, social work, and community clinics to over 900 patients daily and take pride in living our mission of providing optimal health and quality of life for individuals across Rhode Island and in Southeastern Massachusetts.
