Supporting the organization and administration of our digital data. The volunteer will be working alongside Community Home Trust staff to improve the agency’s file management in support of the overall and continuous improvement of business workflow.
*Knowledge of scanning and copier machines required.
Project Summary:
The objective is to upload and save old paper files into CHT’s online storage cloud - Dropbox. This will help staff to find, compile and review important information from anywher e with an internet connection. Staying connected with cli ents, partners, and funders in an increasingly digital world is the overall outcome we hope to achieve.

Description
OUR STORY
Community Home Trust sold its first home in June 2000. In December 2017, the Home Trust acquired the Landings at Winmore, a 58-unit affordable rental development in Carrboro. Our homeowners include nurses, university employees, teachers and others, who serve our community but otherwise could not afford to own a home here. Our tenants are of households earning less than 60% of the area median income; section 8 vouchers are accepted. Today, there are 318 permanently affordable homes in Chapel Hill and Carrboro.
PERMANENT AFFORDABILITYThrough our homeownership program, homes can accrue limited appreciation each year, preserving affordability for future generations while allowing current homeowners to build equity. While the Home Trust retains title to each property, ownership is conveyed using a renewable 99-year ground lease.
