I am looking for someone to volunteer about an hour each month to help residents with simple IT questions. This could range from changing settings on a phone to questions about their OS on their PC. We are an independent HUD subsidized senior building, with a few disabled younger adults. I would have a sign up for 15 minute increments for each resident and would never have more than 8 residents in total. It would be in-person 1:1 with each resident in our Library.
All covid precautions are in place, masks still required. Most of the questions would likely be very simple ex. internet searches, how to use apps or certain websites, setting changes on devices, etc. I cannot offer any kind of work credit for this just yet, but am looking into making that an opportunity in the future.
