Our next two York Habitat homes are being built in Red Lion at 78 & 80 East High Street. This build will be a two-story duplex that will become the future homes of two York County families. We will begin building alongside volunteers this February 2024.
We are looking for experienced volunteers - people who know carpentry and construction, who know how to use hand tools and power tools you do not have to live in our service area to participate. Involving volunteers in these roles helps us involve more community members in our work and helps us direct more funds to purchasing materials and supporting new homeowners.

Description
Since 1985, York Habitat for Humanity has built over 150 modest homes to serve low-income, hard-working families in need. Our volunteers can learn new skills, utilize their talents by building on the job site, or give some customer service at our ReStore - where all proceeds are directed back towards our building efforts. We also have opportunities on multiple committees and the Board of Directors to ensure our mission reaches all of York County.
