Volunteer to Give Tech Support to LGBTQ+ Seniors!

Are you interested in helping LGBTQ+ seniors navigate through tech issues? If so, you might be interested in joining the Openhouse Volunteer Tech Support Team! They are looking for folks to help with weekly and monthly virtual groups for LGBTQ+ seniors, as well as volunteers who can give 1:1 tech support to our community members remotely or in-person. It would be desirable for you to have some experience and confidence with using Zoom.

Volunteer Expectations:

• You will make a commitment to 6 months of support
• Support at least one of their programs held via Zoom - these most often occur during the weekday during business hours. It is an active commitment of 20 minutes, then being on stand by to take a call for tech help during the duration of the meeting (most are 1.5 hours)
• Must have patience for helping others with cognitive differences
