Every year, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society hosts an event called Light the Night, which is essentially an opportunity for members in our community who have been affected by blood cancer to gather, fundraise, and walk around our community holding lanterns and, quite literally, Light The Night! It's a really beautiful event that means so much to a lot of people, and sheds a light on blood cancer, how much this disease has affected so many people.
This year they are hosting TWO in person events: East Bay (Saturday, October 16th) and Silicon Valley (Friday, October 22nd). Volunteers are needed to help with check in, photobooth, cleaning, lantern assembly, working booths, and more.
