The Lake Area Free Clinic is a volunteer-driven non-profit in Oconomowoc, WI that provides free health care to the uninsured of Waukesha county. We are currently looking for bilingual (Spanish/English or Mandarin/English) volunteers with an interest in the medical field. We will provide on-site shadowing and training for our volunteer medical interpreter role. We have both day time and evening shifts available. The Lake Area Free Clinic is a dynamic and fun place and we are always excited to welcome new volunteers. For more information please contact Anna Pludeman at anna@lakeareafreeclinic.org.
During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all staff, volunteers, and patients are screened for COVID-19 before entering the clinic. And furthermore, everyone in the clinic is required to wear masks at all times. The health and safety of our volunteers and patients is of the upmost importance to the Lake Area Free Clinic.
