We are looking for volunteers to help at West Valley Community Services for the 2021 tax year in 2022!

VITA at WVCS will begin on February 3rd, 2022 through April 9th, 2022

Volunteer Positions Available:

Appointment Scheduler - (Starting January 24th, 2022)

  • Monday and Wednesday 1pm to 5pm

In-Person and Front Desk Volunteering - (Starting February 5th, 2022)
  • Saturday - 11 am to 2pm

Remote Volunteering (Starting February 3rd, 2022)

All training is provided by United Way Bay Area. No experience is required and must be 16 years or older. If you are interested in getting to know more information regarding the VITA program, United Way Bay Area has an informational training:

West Valley Community Services, Inc. is a non-profit, community-based agency that has been providing direct assistance and referral services to the west valley communities of Santa Clara County for over 45 years. Founded in 1973, West Valley Community Services provides a continuum of basic needs, including an in-house and mobile food pantry, homeless support, affordable housing, emergency financial assistance, family support, referrals, education, and case management. West Valley Community Services serves homeless and low-income individuals and families in the west valley communities of Cupertino, Saratoga, West San Jose, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, and the surrounding mountain regions.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8 am to 12 pm, 1 pm to 5 pm
Saturday and Sunday: Closed
