Miles College is committed to engaging its alumni and student communities by actively participating in proliferating a positive impact that Miles College has on the greater society. Miles College is establishing the Student - Alumni Engagement Program to create robust engagement vehicles that reinforce alumni success through relationship building, by creating a seamless transition from student to alumni, by connecting alumni virtually, and by ensuring professional readiness of both alumni and students.

Miles College is recruiting alumni from all generations and professionals from all industry areas to support our students through a new effort called Miles College Legacy. The legacy project is designed to help students by matching them with an alumni/ professionals well they will have a real relationship that will help them in staying in school this semester and graduating on time.

Alumni who choose to be part of this network can be an objective sounding board for students' ideas or a place where students can ask thoughtful questions. Mentors are a great resource because they are able to talk to the students about their own experiences but also able to help students to problem solve around their unique Miles College experience.

The time commitment for this project is a minimum of thirty minutes to one hour weekly.
